Welcome to A Message From Magus G.Mack

Welcome to A Message From Magus G.Mack

Hello, and welcome.

Whether you found your way here through one of my books, a social media post, a conversation with a friend, or simple curiosity, I’m genuinely glad you’re here.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been fascinated by one question:

Why do people do what they do?

That question has led me down countless paths over the years. I’ve spent much of my life observing people, studying behavior, questioning my own choices, and trying to understand why certain experiences seem to repeat while others quietly change the direction of our lives.

Along the way, I discovered something surprising. Many of the struggles we experience aren’t isolated problems.

They’re patterns.

Patterns hidden beneath everyday thoughts, habits, fears, beliefs, and decisions.

Once we begin to recognize those patterns, something remarkable happens.

We realize we have more influence over our lives than we first imagined.

That’s the journey we’ll be exploring together.

This newsletter isn’t about becoming perfect.

It isn’t about having all the answers.

It’s about becoming a little more aware today than we were yesterday.

One observation.

One conversation.

One choice at a time.

Thank you for joining me.

I’m looking forward to sharing this journey with you.

What Is Asdabbi?

One of the questions I’m asked most often is, “What does Asdabbi mean?”

The answer is surprisingly simple.

Asdabbi means making life more fun and enjoyable.

At first glance, that might sound like an unusual mission for someone who spends so much time writing about fear, habits, human behavior, and personal growth.

But to me, the two fit together perfectly.

Life becomes more enjoyable when we understand it a little better.

When we recognize the thoughts that quietly influence our decisions…

When we become aware of the habits we’ve been running on autopilot…

When we stop fighting the same invisible battles over and over again…

…we begin to experience something many people are searching for without realizing it.

Freedom.

Not freedom from responsibility.

Freedom to choose our response.

Freedom to think differently.

Freedom to build a life intentionally instead of accidentally.

That’s the heart of Asdabbi.

Its mission is simple:

Making life more fun and enjoyable.

We pursue that mission by helping people become more aware of the hidden patterns shaping everyday life, so they can make better choices, experience greater freedom, and ultimately create a life they truly enjoy.

Everything I write, create, and share is built around that idea.

Why the Beyond Series?

If Asdabbi is the mission…

The Beyond series is one of the ways I hope to accomplish it.

Over the years, I began noticing that many of life’s frustrations have something in common. We often try to change our circumstances before we understand the patterns creating them.

We fight the symptoms while the source quietly continues doing what it has always done.

The Beyond series is my attempt to explore those deeper influences—one layer at a time.

The first book, Beyond Sin, challenges one of the oldest words in human history. Instead of treating sin as a label for who we are, it explores it as something we do. It asks a simple but powerful question:

What if our daily choices shape the kind of life we experience right now?

From there, the journey continues.

The next book, Beyond Influence, looks beyond our actions and asks another question:

  • Where do those choices come from?
  • Why do certain thoughts keep returning?
  • Why do some fears seem so convincing?
  • Why do habits become automatic?

How do the people, environments, and experiences around us quietly influence the decisions we make every day?

These books aren’t written to tell you what to believe.

They’re written to invite you to observe.

To ask questions.

To become more aware.

And perhaps most importantly…

To discover that change often begins long before we take action. It begins the moment we notice what has been quietly guiding us all along.

The Beyond series is still growing, and I’m excited to continue sharing that journey with you—one book, one observation, and one conversation at a time.

What You Can Expect

If you’re looking for constant sales pitches…

You’re in the wrong place.

Yes, I’ll occasionally share news about a new book, a project I’m working on, or something I’ve created through Asdabbi.

But that isn’t why I started this newsletter.

I started it because I enjoy observing life.

Every day presents another opportunity to notice something interesting about human behavior.

Sometimes it’s a conversation.

Sometimes it’s a mistake I made.

Sometimes it’s a question I can’t stop thinking about.

Sometimes it’s something so ordinary that most of us walk right past it without giving it a second thought.

Those are the moments I want to share with you.

In the weeks ahead, you can expect stories from everyday life, reflections on the patterns that quietly influence our decisions, behind-the-scenes glimpses into the Beyond series, practical ideas you can experiment with, and the occasional challenge to look at a familiar situation from a different perspective.

I don’t expect you to agree with everything I write.

In fact, I hope you don’t.

Some of the best conversations begin when two people are willing to ask honest questions together.

My hope is that each message leaves you with at least one new observation, one worthwhile question, or one small idea you can carry into the rest of your week.

Because awareness doesn’t usually arrive all at once.

It grows one observation at a time.

And sometimes…

One observation is enough to change everything that follows.

Don’t Be Like Me… Be Better.

You’ll probably see me end many of my messages with a simple phrase:

Don’t Be Like Me… Be Better.

People occasionally ask why I say that.

The answer is easy.

I’ve made plenty of mistakes.

Some were small.

Some followed me around for years.

Like everyone else, I’ve believed things that weren’t true, reacted emotionally when I should have paused, let fear make decisions for me, and spent time learning lessons the hard way.

I don’t share those experiences because I’m proud of them.

I share them because they taught me something.

If one of my mistakes helps someone else recognize a pattern a little sooner…

If one story helps someone avoid years of unnecessary struggle…

If one observation helps someone make a better decision than I did…

Then those experiences become more than mistakes.

They become useful.

That’s what I hope this newsletter becomes.

Not a place where one person claims to have all the answers.

But a place where someone who’s still learning shares what he’s discovered along the way.

If you can learn from my successes, wonderful.

If you can learn from my failures, even better.

Because the goal has never been for you to become more like me.

The goal has always been for you to become a better version of yourself.

So I’ll continue ending my messages the same way…

Don’t Be Like Me… Be Better.

Your Invitation

Before we meet again, I’d like to invite you to try something.

Not something difficult.

Not something that requires hours of your time.

Just one simple practice.

Pay attention.

As you move through your week, notice the little things.

Notice the thoughts that seem to repeat.

Notice the choices you make without thinking.

Notice the moments that bring you joy.

Notice the moments that quietly steal it away.

Notice what energizes you.

Notice what drains you.

You don’t have to judge any of it.

You don’t have to fix any of it.

Just notice.

Awareness has a way of revealing things we’ve been living with for years but have never truly seen.

And once something is seen…

It can never be unseen.

That’s where change begins.

Not with guilt.

Not with shame.

Not with trying harder.

But with seeing more clearly.

Thank you for allowing me to be part of your journey.

Whether you’ve been here for years or this is the very first thing you’ve read from me, I’m honored you’ve chosen to spend a few moments with these thoughts. I hope each message encourages you to ask better questions, make more intentional choices, and discover a little more freedom than you had the week before.
